The HDP5000PB13 Digital Perfect Binding Machine is a 13-clamp system designed for A4 and A5 book production and A3 examination paper binding, with a maximum mechanical speed of 5,000 books per hour. It can operate inline with digital printing and finishing systems or as a standalone machine for short-run, on-demand, examination paper, notepad and NCR form production. The machine uses automatic book block thickness measurement to read product data and coordinate servo-driven adjustments across the relevant processing units, reducing manual setup during job changeovers. A vertical cover feeder supports continuous cover loading, with adjustable guide rails for accurate alignment. The spine preparation section combines notching and fine milling to open the paper fibres and control glue penetration. An independently servo-driven gluing system uses a spine-side-spine roller arrangement to regulate glue application on the spine and sides, while the glue cut-off length can be adjusted without stopping production. A dual-cam nipping platform forms a flat book back and straight spine. The one-piece machine frame provides rigidity and low vibration at higher operating speeds, while separate delivery paths for books and examination papers switch automatically according to the selected product format.
